2018 Age Group Nationals
Injury update!!!
It turns out I had a severe case of Achilles Bursitis. From this, Nationals is out, however I still raced because I made it an aquabike! It was nice to have the tension of a race relived because I knew I was dropping out after the bike.
Anyways, the race was a crazy one. The swim was one of the slowest swim times I've ever had. Mostly because of the horrible conditions. I was sure happy to have my xterra wetsuit!
The bike went well. I was pretty cautious due to the abundance of people on the roads. It was a drafting haven out on the roads as well. I made sure to just keep safe.
Shoutout to my good friend Greg! He and his girlfriend hosted me as I was visiting! Cleveland does have something going for it, it's trying!
